Each tub contains 8L of shrimp soil with resealable lid.
It is recommended to follow our golden rules of 1L of soil per 30L of volume water for the best buffering activity. This soil can also be used inside UGF box to create the quick setup/ reset method.
Depending on the pH of your tap water, this soil buffers the tank's water to ph of 5.5 to 6.5 and provides a stable environment for Caridina shrimp keeping & breeding.
and it is recommended to use with RO water to prolong the lifespan of this soil. If you are using tap water, please expect to replace the soil very often.
With the use of RO water, it is recommended to replace shrimp soil every 10-12 months for the best breeding results.
