When will we post your order


For order placed on Monday to Tuesday
- We don't offer Same Day Dispatch for orders. This is because we give priority for orders that have been placed over the weekend to be dispatched first. Your order will be dispatched the next working day.


For orders placed on Wednesday to Thursday - All orders received before 1pm will be dispatched in the same day using your chosen delivery options. We don't process Tracked 24 parcels that is placed after 1pm on Thursday, until the following Monday. This doesn't affect Special Delivery orders. This is for the safety of your shrimp so they don't get stuck in the postal system. 


For orders placed on Friday - As default, we will not dispatched any Tracked 24 or Special Delivery parcels until the following Monday. We will only post Saturday Guarantee option on Friday. This is to reduce the risk of your shrimp being stucked in the postal system over the weekend. HOWEVER, we can still post normal Special Delivery parcels, only IF YOU'VE REQUESTED us to do so. Please kindly send us a message to let us know


Order will be shipped out on Monday to Thursday only. Unless you have opted for Saturday Guarantee Special Delivery provided by Royal Mail, we will not be posting on Friday. This is to reduce the risk of shrimp being stuck in the postal system over the weekend.

By default, if there was NO note attached on your shrimp order to let us know when we need to ship your order, we will POST your order same day (if order before 1pm) or the next working day and will send you an email in the morning to let you know we are going to post your order.


Insight on How We Ship:

·      Every shrimp order is bagged with breather bags. Inside these bags, there will be something for the shrimps to hold on. This could be plastic netting, plant clippings, or floating plants.

·      Every order will come in polystyrene box to give extra structure and resistance in transit.

·      The packed bags will be nestled in cellulous/ paper insulation. It adds shocks resistance and thermal insulation during all seasons. 

·      An invoice, drip instructions, and a little gift from us is included in every order.

·      Depending on the weather condition, heat packs will be required. A heat pack is highly recommended if the temperature is below 8 degrees in your area.

·      After taping & sealing the box, we will add stickers to the package. These stickers would bring more attention to the Postman/ courier delivery carriers know that it requires delicate handling.

We are constantly learning and improve these practices. If you have any idea that you would want to tell us, please do so. We will reward you with the great idea.

We reserve the right to delay shipping due to weather, temperatures and any unforeseen circumstances caused by couriers.

 

Order Status - Regular Updates & getting tracking number for your parcel


You will receive several emails updating the order's process.

1. You will received an Order Received email to let you know that we've received your order

2. An email with subject "Order In Process" will be sent next - this is to let you know that we've started working on your order, selecting the shrimp stock etc.

3. The next email you will received will be "Packing & Preparing for dispatch" - 99% of the time, by receiving this email, we are going to post your order in the same date this email is received

4. The last email will be "Shipped" - this indicates that we have shipped your order. You can then login to My Account on our website, visit Order History, select on the order and you will be able to get the tracking number for your parcel.


How will Your Order be delivered


We post your order using Royal Mail service, or any alternative service depending on the weight & size of your parcel.

There are several options we offer, as below

 

·      Tracked 24hr - This service is advertised to deliver to you within the next working day. This method is only suitable for low volume/ less sensitive shrimp orders (for example, cherry shrimp and low value caridina shrimp species. Please note sometime Royal Mail will deliver parcel within 2 working days, and this is beyond our control. Therefore, please keep an eye on the tracking number provided to know exactly when you will receive the parcel.

 

·      Special Delivery - This service is guaranteed to deliver to you the next working day. This is recommended if you are ordering any high value shrimp or would want the order to arrived on the specific date. If you want your shrimp to arrive on a specific date, please use this service.          

             

·      Collection Point - this option need to be arranged prior to your order. If you know you will not be in to receive the orders and prefer delivery to your nearest DPD or UPS Collection Point, so please contact us after placing your order so we can arrange the Pickup location that would suit you.

Whichever shipping option choice you make, we will provide you with a link to track your package online. You can check for this information via My Account, after we have dispatched your order.


How to track your order ?


The best way to keep an eye on your order is by entering your mobile number at checkout. This enable us to fill in the details with Royal Mail so they can send you a text to let you know the parcel is on its way to you. And this text will also contains a link by Royal Mail to track your parcel.


If you didn't provide the tracking number, please login to your Account, under My Account, Order History, click on your orders and you will see a tracking number attached to your order


How much will the shipping cost be?

Shipping fees are automatically calculated at checkout based on the total weight of your order. This includes actual postage cost (depending on your order's total weight) from Royal Mail. We do not make any profits from this.

Do we ship outside the UK?

For order with dry goods only, we can ship to anywhere in the world.

 

For order with live shrimp -  We can now legally send live shrimp to any countries within the European Union. We DO NOT offer any DOA cover for shipping outside of the UK
