Amano is originated from Japan, introduced into the hobby by Takashi Amano (past owner of ADA) in the early 1980s. The shrimp feeds primarily on algae, effective cleaning algae when present in sufficient numbers

This shrimp is a very hardy shrimp and very easy to keep. They do not breed in normal freshwater and require very complicated process if you want to breed them.

Compatibility

can be keep together with any other shrimps (if the water values match). They do not cross breed with any other Neocaridina nor Caridina species. However they are known to be predators so they can attack new born shrimp.

Quality product, good size

Fast delivery in decent packaging. Shrimp all look healthy and of good quality. As others mentioned shrimp are obviously young unlike other places which sells full adults of indeterminate age. Will definitely buy again
