This shrimp is a very hardy shrimp and very easy to keep. They do not breed in normal freshwater and require very complicated process if you want to breed them.

This is a group of 10 shrimp at size 1 to 1.2cm (Small)

Captive Bred ofcourse - You cannot find these in the wild as they are cross breeding/ selected breed some the original wild shrimp species.

Bamboo Shrimp - Atyopsis moluccensis, also known as Bamboo, Wood, Fan or Mountain Shrimp and is a freshwater shrimp species

Due to its size, and can grow up to 12cm. They are suitable in community tanks with small to medium size fish

They are very shy species, and preferrably to be kept in a group of 3-5. They need driftwood, plants, or rocks to cling to in the current.

They require aquarium with high flow water, because they use fan-like front appendages to catch food.

They require supplemental feeding with powdered foods and they do not eat any type of shrimp pellets.

We recommend you to have our Green Dust, a specialised foods for your Bamboo shrimp, ensuring them with all the nutrients needed for them to thrive.
